Hello! And welcome to my You Tube channel.
I have a bit of an eclectic channel, with videos of whatever I am fixing, doing or building.
A little bit of wood working, metal working, electronics and household repairs.
Metal detecting is one of my hobbies I don’t seem to have enough time to do.
I hope you enjoy watching my videos!

I this video I show how I built my high banker for gold. I struggled a bit to get this video through edit, so I am close to two years of using this high banker now and it is perfect for Colorado where we have large river rocks with gold stuck to them. Turbo pan way to go he’s just to stupid to figure it out 🤦♂️

Good video 👍🏼
Flux won't remove the copper from the silver. Any copper that was present during the melting, will be in the final product. If you want to remove the copper you'll need nitric acid.
Hola soy de Guatemala como puedo adquirir ésa máquina de lavado

Fixed! Thanks mate.
I did not sign a disclosure for this!!

You are amazing ..thank you alot
what we got off track by a mile with granny and mom .Interest lost
I AM FILMING 😡😡😡
Lovely old set saved. Great work, and thanks.
Boy, those switches were a work of genius. We really had some engineering quality and ingenuity back in those days, didn't we? I miss them. Many thanks for showing.
Do you remember how many feet the strand of lights are u used? I watched it 4 times
Sorry - I don't remember.
@BradsLaboratory pin this for future reference, For anyone who asks! I used 2 70 soft white led strands, and it came out perfect! Thank you for making this video!
The coat hanger wire works as is. You done need to put those groves in the pin of O Gauge track. I have made 18 pins that way. My train set is a MARX O-Guage train set with mixed in Lionel track. The all Marx pins have grove on one side of the pins. The Lionel pins do have the grove on both ends. I have no idea what the point of the groves are for anyway. Do you?
What's with the wire twisted around the tip? Should I be doing this? More mass, broken tip repair, sturdier?
Tips came that way back then, I think it was part of the manufacturing process, pulling the bend together. It was probably a person doing that step.
how to open speaker area of this headset. My speaker is broken and I want to open it
So am I not seeing how/where to hear the "how" to replace it versus the elevator music?
The perfect video!!
Nema 10-50's are better built that most 14-50's made today. I made an adapter myself for my friends who come over and need a charge for their EV's.
I think I accidently changed the dip switches while cleaning and did not take note of what they were before. Anyway to reprogram as the receiver does not have dip switches to match. I have tried to get it to link back together but no luck, not sure what I am doing wrong
Great video! By the way, this seems to be exactly the same procedure & parts to replace the parking brake shoes on a 2009 Hyundsi Tuscon 4WD. Have not found a video for that, so this was a great help. Thanks!
im having trouble with this the cord wont come more and when i preas the brake it wont stop and the lever stays in the position i let go
Sounds like the cable I gummed up, try cleaning the cable ends with brake cleaner and the lube with graphite powder.
did u have to replace the battery each year?
No it lasted a couple of years, the my daughter out grew the bike and I sold it with the batteries still going strong
@@BradsLaboratory did u guys use heavily and like everyday cause i even called razor they said every year

There is a little plunger inside the sensor. If you missed it under the spring.
Do you have the Torque specs ? For the sensor, pressure hose, the low pressure passage with two bolts and o ring, etc ?? Please ...
Thank you! Just and FYI for anyone doing this, I had mine plugged in and this trick wouldn’t work, but I unplugged it and it worked like a charm!

is there a piece of metal on the back of his dia, tester his finger should be on and it's not
I suspect they found quartz at the diamond mine. I am guessing Murfeesbouroug (sp.) In Arkansas if you are in US... Quartz will scratch glass too. All of Arkansas has quartz, only a small area has diamonds. I went once, they found more than I did...
Excellent video! Thank you! This should do the trick.
Also check the self leveling sealant on the seam between the rubber roof and the fiberglass piece that bends down to become the front and rear.
Your music is so damn annoying. Turn it off or better yet, stop adding music. And explain what your doing. Call out tools and sizes.
This is the only video that I've found that tells me how to take off the head... Thank you!
Thank you for this video. My issue is slightly different - blinks red constantly when trying to turn on (as if it's not charged). Works fine when plugged in. Won't pair. Been trying to figure out where this super tiny little pinhole was located.
Hi, since Google + is no more is it possible to get a copy of the Schematic from you. I just picked up a Master Hunter 7 ADS. Same Battery Pack. I saw they made a rechargeable battery pack for these detectors too. Do you think they'll work with 9V NIMH Rechargeable Batteries? Thanks Much. I really appreciate you taking the time to put up this video 5 years ago.
9V NiMh batteries work fine on my Master Hunter 5! I can personally vouch for that.
Hi, I just picked one up. Question do you know what ADS stands for? I can't find it anywhere. Thank You
I have the HF nine. It seems to have stopped discriminating. I had zinc pennies dialed out but after some sand made the disc knob scratchy, it seems to have stopped disc. the three way switch still works. any advice on how to test the circuit?
I also have a 1960s Weller. Shes a Bute boys. B E A You-tee-full. Mine is an 8250a. Single speed.
You didn't explain the wiring. Thats all im looking for. Everyone skips it or explains something else 😂
It is just a wall mounted RF remote. The hot (black) and neutral (white) power the remote and then it passes the hot through the manual override switch to the fan unit. The receiver at the fan controls the fan and light.
@Brad's Laboratory that's what I thought, but when I hooked it back up, the fan light comes on and stays on. The remote doesn't even light up anymore. It's hooked up the same way it came apart as I labeled and took pictures. I'm wondering of it's wiring or I messed something up in the remote.
@@NSWvet83 check the bypass switch, I can’t remember for sure but those usually have a cap that covers the switch on the circuit board. That cap can get off a notch leaving the bypass switch on all the time.
@@BradsLaboratory thanks I'll try that.
@Brad's Laboratory everything seems fine inside the switch. I did clean up the clear stuff that spreads on circuit boards with a non conductive tool. I tried connecting a new switch from Amazon and it popped immediately. I was under the impression you couldn't wire these backwards. Which I didn't think I did. Any idea why that happened?
what is the voltage rating for the wedge light bulb ?
I have a cracked glass plate that's shattered but still together just recently is there a way I can save the plate?
The neon has probably leaked out
@@BradsLaboratory is that why I heard popping from it? Because the neon was escaping through the cracks on the glass disk
Neon was gone, the electricity was arcing in the air and making the popping sound.
@@BradsLaboratory ah I see I didn't have it plugged in at the time when the glass broke but maybe it was just left over electricity from when I had it on last
Hi Brad. greetings from Colombia. Do you know what model the gun is? Is it a Weller brand? An uncle gave me a very similar one, with the two bulbs in the front. but this one has a very split casing. maybe i can get the case if i identify the model. The most similar I've seen in UA-cam videos is yours. I will appreciate your help. luck!
Didn't work for me... must be just a junk switch.
Did it work after the tear down ?I am curious to know thanks vern
Yes - still using it today.
